Seems my tired feelings are now officially accounted for.  MT has kindly shared the lurgy he was suffering with last week.  With low energy, sore throat, a howling gale I’m taking it easy here at Domestic Executive HQ.  Not wishing to idle my time away I’ve been reviewing my photographs from our holiday in Shanghai last year.  Oh how much difference a year makes.  Not just in time but how you view the world.  And in my tiny photography obsessed world that means looking back at reassessing, thinking how I might have done things differently if I knew then what I knew now.

The biggest reflection is the distinction you make between photographs that are captures of moments in time, places you visit and the memories you secure, and photographs you take to be seriously artsy fartsy.  Let’s just say there wasn’t much fine art to pick but I have heaps and heaps of memories that I wouldn’t change for the world.  Shanghai is an amazing place and I’d revisit like a shot – to experience the multi-cultural perspectives over and over again.

Here’s a picture that I intend to get fully processed and printed to go on the wall.  That’s when I get around to getting the computer monitors calibrated and source a printer.  I’ll be sure to tell you when I get that done.  Just to prove that I’m not all talk.
