When did the common cold die?  For all it’s faults you could at least guarantee how things would turn out.  A red nose, a sore throat but then after a few days you’d be right again.  These modern times it seems that it’s all about flu and viruses no one can predict. The worst of it seems to me be the fact that you think you’re over the worst then bam, you’re knocked out again by another symptom lurking in the background you least expect it.

There’s plenty of germs and bugs around right now and we’ve not been immune.  Pity really as I have so much I want to do.  Instead I’m stuck planning and thinking rather than just getting on with the job in hand.  It’s a tad frustrating but with Spring around the corner optimism is the order of the day.

I took this photograph yesterday in a few moments I had to spare before delivering a coaching workshop in Wellington.  The light across the harbour was amazing – it made the water glisten. No time for scouting a beautiful spot I had to make the most of the grungy waterside which I think does have it’s own charm in a reflective sort of way.
