It’s been a funny few days.  I’ve not been getting the Domestic Executive balance right.  This always happens after I’ve had a couple of weeks working from home and then have to get back into face-to-face work back in the big city.  It’s an uncomfortable feeling that makes me remember why I decided to change my lifestyle in the first place.

When I’m having a tough time I do at least have my own comics-in-residence to cheer me up.

This picture was taken at the weekend when the sun was shining.  Fortnum and Mason were keeping a beady eye on proceedings in the garden. I love the way they look at me – so inquisitive.  So charming. So handsome.  It makes my heart melt.  So when I need a quick boost I simply turn and look for double trouble and they bring life back into perspective.

I’ve had some really great “engagements” this week.  That’s consultant speak for doing stuff with people.  Quite a big week for me in some respects.  A long standing client has completed her coaching programme and I facilitated my first team coaching session this year.  Both went well and I was quite chuffed with the outcomes of the team work.  The clients are really happy and singing my praises so hope I’m hope that they start speaking through a loud speaker and tell other people.

It’s getting to that time of year where things start to wind up to wind down for Christmas.  With the global economic spectre overshadowing most financial decisions and the election looming means that all self employed people I know are starting to feel the pinch. I’m looking on the bright side I can get back in balance although I’m sure I shall start fretting that I don’t reach my goals this year.

Time to get a coach maybe?  Still in these times of financial prudence as least I can do some DIY coaching on myself!
