As a rule I’m not one for creative processing of photographs.  For one thing that would require me to master Photoshop and it seems to me that is a life’s work.  I am a simple girl and that’s why my I’m becoming such a Mac girl.  Their software is altogether simpler to use and I’m in my element now I have my new Aperture software working.  Using a few basic tweaks and presets you can do marvellous things to spice up your images.

This car grave is on the side of the Kaitoke Forest Trail.  It’s been there as long as I’ve been walking the trail and gradually gets more overgrown every time I pass.  It’s a sad state of affairs and my original picture was pretty flat and lifeless, a bit like the car itself.  With a few nifty moves it now looks altogether more dramatic.
