Excuse me whilst I indulge in one New Zealand’s finest views.  We’ve left the rain and wind of Wellington behind (by prop plane no less) and arrived south of Christchurch to Akaroa.   This is a corner of New Zealand I’ve wanted to visit for a while.  Five years after emigrating here we’ve finally made it.

No doubt that I was a little nervous touching down in Christchurch.  So far so good and long may it stay that way for Cantabrians.  With the bassets being indulged at home with house sitters we’re foot loose for a few days.
