It’s been a struggle but I’ve managed to bag a couple of kilos of tomatoes this year from the kitchen garden.  It was quite a buzz to roast them off with my own grown garlic and herbs.  I didn’t have the energy to sieve them to make a smooth passata so I’m off to buy a new kitchen gadget to do the job instead.  Just hope that there hasn’t been a run on moulis since it’s harvest time like there has been on small battery radios since the earthquakes.
