After the blizzard weather it was good to get a bit more sunshine back. The world always looks a much better place when the sun shines, don’t you think?
The sun brought out droves of people to come and see the snow on the Rimutaka Hill yesterday. Pity that the road was still closed because of the snow.Â
Domestic Executive HQ was basking in sun though. The views of the surrounding hills looked awesome with the snow still lingering on the top and the sun lighting up the valley.
It also seem to make the colours of the house light up
It was a beautiful day for a walk so we headed up the road passing the crowds to the Kaitoke regional park.
There were plenty of adventurers on the river making the most of the fast water. Rather them than me though since I have a tendency to capsize canoes and the water was most definitely icy. Definitely not swimming weather me thinks!
