Faux Spring is something I read about it in gardening books and magazines – times you must be cautious about frosty conditions.  Right now it’s like Spring has regressed to winter again.  Bitterly cold and frosts on the ground.

With all this talk of freezing my web hosting company decided they’d put their own freeze on things and lock down my site.  This has been a real problem in the last couple of weeks.   You can be sure I’ll be looking to move on to someone who is more reliable when the current payment plan runs out.  Pleased to be back up and running as there is loads of action planned around Domestic Executive HQ this weekend.

Spring Ice

It was very crisp this morning during my morning constitutional with the bassets.  I think the buttercups got a right shock even if it does make for a delightful photo.

Frozen buttercups

I’ve been snuggled up in lots of layers to keep warm and when the sun does finally come out it is at least bearable to get on with some chores around the place.

Frozen grasses

Our blackboard to do list is gradually getting ticked off.  There are however rather too many half ticks on the board.  Sometimes it’s just that we run out of materials, such as fencing wire to finish the rabbit protection fences, or sheer stamina for strimming and trimming the paddocks.  But progress it is and I’m celebrating every small step right now in the right direction.  Which is more than I can say for this Spring weather.
