I’ve been out today in Wellington with my documentary photography class learning the difference between picture-taking and picture-making.    The former is where you literally take what you see and snap.  The later is about making a picture by taking what you see and making it into a photograph that you pre-visualise.  Let me tell you picture taking is a whole heap easier.  As always we have to produce and edited set for the class on Monday, here’s my favourite photo from today’s.
