Now, don’t adjust your set this is a bug close up.  A bug that spend the best part of the day visiting me here in Domestic Executive HQ.  I first noticed it this morning and thought, that’s nice a moth has decided to stay after a long night of flying.

I’m not a lover of moths.  They tend to get annoying when they fly around the bedroom after dark when you’ve stupidly left the window open and they get attracted to the light.

On the grounds I find moths annoying I didn’t pay much more than a fleeting attention to the moth on the window. Until that is I found it still sitting on the window a couple of hours later.

That’s the critter.  Looking as if it’s made itself right a home. And stay it did.

Who could blame it.  The view outside the window is stunning and the view inside was pretty good too.

This just proves I’m not making this story up.  Still don’t believe me.  Here’s the resting place in full.

Neat eh!  This moth stayed most of the day and even put up with me polishing the window on the inside as part of my last minute cleaning before my inlaws arrived.

And, as if one winged creature wasn’t enough today.  Look what flew in to land right in front of me whilst waiting for the bassets to finish their sniffing routine.

This was an amazing sight which this photo doesn’t do justice to.  The way the sun was shining it was hard to see it properly.  Still, you can see the intricacies of the wings. And the pretty gruesome looking head.

Nice day for bugs and things with wings.  Enjoy the weekend when it comes around for you!
