I can’t help but think of Fantastia every time I see a red cap toadstool.  I have expect them to don a chinese coolie hat and start dancing through the Kaitoke forest.  Plain fantasy I know but it helps to let the mind go wild after the intensity of coaching sessions.

What isn’t fantasy though is that my birthdays, Christmases and bonus days have all come at once.  After much deliberation, procrastination and stalking of camera sales people I’ve finally taken the plunge and bought myself a new camera.  It’s arrived but I was too frightened to open it at first.  Now I’ve overcome my first date nerves the battery is on charge and I’m looking forward to taking it out for a spin tomorrow. This may be madness but I’m so bitten by this photography bug I’m ready to step up my game. That is of course if I can work out where the on switch is.
