Illustration by Jo Gray Friday’s are my domestic doing days. That means I don’t plan to work. Don’t book appointments but instead dedicate myself to cleaning, preening, shopping and preparing the house for the weekend. Sounds exhausting? It... We had a nice surprise yesterday. Our information country lane seems to have been upgraded and the broadband connection appears to be moving faster than the usual pace of a lost flock of sheep. I have to admit it wasn’t me that spotted this development but MT... I’ve been pondering whether like a recession you need two or more successive chill events to formally classify that winter is here. I know it snowed at the weekend but was so fleeting it hardly counts. Having said that it’s been definitely chillier this... It’s a busy week executive wise and that always brings more tension. Mainly of my own making as I try to be all things to all people. All this internal conflict is never fun especially when people let you down. It’s hard to believe that after living in the house for around 7 months we are almost done with the builders. Yes, the snagging list has been snagged all bar one item and one that we have simply decided we can’t bear the pain to get repaired so settled...
