It’s just as well I’ve taken photographs of some of our Spring blooms. Without them in my visual vault I might actually forget what Spring is all about. We are once again in the grip of a southerly which makes it feel like mid winter instead of mid... Living with basset hounds I tend to forget there are other dogs in the world. Of course I know there are other dogs in the world it’s just I don’t think any other dogs have the character and slobbering ability as my two hounds.   But oh how wrong I am.... Attention to detail is not one of my strengths. My talents rather lie in big picture thinking, day dreaming and doodling in notebooks about what might be. Active reading and listening are things I do for work although I admit there are times when I have not paid... My local timber merchant’s yard is feeling like a second home. Riffling through wood piles to find the straightest pieces of wood or sitting in the sun with one of the lads as we fathom out how much of what I need to bring my scribbles on a piece of paper... Keeping chickens is one of my domestic pleasures.
