We had another really wild night of storms last night. Lashing rain, gale force winds and the biblical proportion rains that usually accompany such weather. To overcome the misery of continued wet weather I thought I’d fine tune my domestic executive baking... We had a nice surprise yesterday. Our information country lane seems to have been upgraded and the broadband connection appears to be moving faster than the usual pace of a lost flock of sheep. Bassets are very fickle in their affections. They chop and change who they pay attention to based on (a) whether there is something nice to eat (b) something that will keep them entertained. Not bad criteria you might think and who can blame them.
