There are some people you meet in life who are just so loveable and you never want to let them go. We were lucky enough for two such people, Rich and Chris from Oxford UK, to pay us a visit this week as they travel around New Zealand by campervan. They formed a special bond with the bassets and a new branch of the basset admiration society has started. Visits by friends from the UK are always so fleeting but this is one that will definitely be remembered for a long time.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and your hospitality ,It was great to see you both and meet Fortnam and Mason and we are still’ scoffing ‘ the wonderful rhubarb cake you made and will be having ‘eggy bread ‘in the morning using those lovely fresh eggs !!! We hope Masons ear gets better soon and look forward to seeing you again sometime in the future .Lots love ,Rich and Chris.x
