The only rushing around a basset hound is normally related to food.  Otherwise you’ll find them making themselves comfy and taking in the view.  That is of course if they are not stretched out and snoring loudly.  With all the toing and froing in the garden recently they’ve mastered the art of hanging out together.  That way they can avoid walking all the way to the top of the garden only to find they have to turn right around to follow me back down again.

With such fine weather we’ve been making the most of being able to be outside which has slightly set back my plans for all sorts of indoor domesticity and winter projects.  And long may it continue.
