I’ve only been away for a minute and look at all these posts! Such wonderful photos and to see things I would normally miss. I still havent seen the red phonebox – where is that!? It is on Post Office Square? Well done on a lovely post, thank you for sharing it with us xx

Were those gargoyles sheep ? It would make sense. I do the same type of thing looking for interesting things to share on the blog but I’m much lazier as I do that from the comfort of my car, sometimes not even getting out to take the photos. Usually it’s a matter of finding a safe gateway to park in. My last visit to Bristol reminded me why I really don’t like cities though the area around the train station and the walk into the centre was through some very grotty ex industrial buildings alongside major roadways. If I ever get my dental appointment I’ll try and find some nicer points but it is harder when you’re on foot. Here every journey to work is through the beautiful hills with views down to the sea. No wonder I haven’t returned once to London in 15 years.
