Beautiful photographs. I must take a visit to the deciduous tree collection near the duck-pond in the Botanical Gardens for an autumn ‘kick’ of colour! I’ll second Arrowtown for it’s stunning display and historical charm. Could so do with a long weekend away down there over the Easter hols – just need to check those air-points and see if hubbie can manage some time off work and I’d be down in a shot!

In reply to Marrisa. Hi Marrisa, if you're ever in the Wanaka neck of the woods you should definitely go. Also Arrowtown. It's always a temptation to stick around Queenstown but in my book these other places offer so much more natural beauty and plenty of fun too. JT x

I love the way you keep bringing amazing blog posts to us. Such lovely Autumn photos too. I tried taking some yesterday but failed to capture what I wanted to. I hear so much about Wanaka but have never visited yet, will put that on our list to do! xx
