I love that idea (or should I say Ha Ha). There’s nothing like a good view or as they say in North Devon ‘ a good vu’. As to the bare patches, give it a year , a bit of ‘weed and feed’ in the autumn and you’ll have a beautiful greensward.

Hmm, scarifying, is that some sort of exfoliation for lawns? I agree. Right now we’re letting it do it’s think till all the patches join up. Then we’ll dig out the weeds and reseed. J x

or there’s always Astroturf ?

I would think that your present “lawn” needs a good scarifying and reseeding.
