Normally, i.e. when living in the States, I love Christmas and decorating and baking cookies and making winter-friendly foods and shopping for presents. But I just can’t get into Christmas here! At one point I even caught myself thinking, “Oh, well at least I don’t have to deal with this every year, this utter lack of interest in Christmas when it’s hot outside.” But then I remember, I actually live in New Zealand, I’m not just visiting, so I DO have to deal with it! We may have to form a support group for this.
