Ruta, I think my father-in-law has developed an unnatural obsession about clearning these thistles. Whilst I’m pleased they are gone I am worried he might never be the same again about gardening. He’s eyeing up the rest of the gorse now! JT

I’ve got a few brambles lurking that need decimating. I bet you’re relieved to see the end of those thistles. It’s made such a difference.
