I’m with Ruta on the distant hills. On our pad in Houghton Bay we’re lucky to not have lots of houses over-looking us and our garden is very, very private and surrounded by trees… but oh, how I love to be able to see for miles. I reckon it must be good for the mind to project ones thoughts a good distance over the fence! We used to live in Brooklyn and had the most stunning view over Mt Vic and the city. I spent countless hours observing the rapidly changing weather patterns. Glad to hear the rain and wind hasn’t caused any major problems – did you hear about the flying roof in Lyall Bay? Mad winds!

How you getting on with the wind and rain last night and today?? Jeeeezzz we spent the night worrying we were losing our roof and had to rescue stuff from the deck!!

Your plants are so lovely, Denver has taken his ‘love’ to my garden!!!

You’ve got some interesting plants but my attention was well and truely caught by the hills in the distance. Simply amazing. I long for ‘distant views’ but here in our valley it’s just the neighbouring fields to look at unless I go up the hill.
