I know what you mean Sue. I don’t seem to have the imperative to style my blog photography although really admire people who and have wonderful food photography. Truth is such photography takes a massive effort and has little to do with a few snaps before you dig in and more to do with specific photography shoots which I can more easily do with baking than cooking the evening meal.

I still really struggle with my food photography – especially styling – not least because I’m usually snapping off a couple of shots while certain individuals are getting impatient for dinner. Hi Sally, yes swanky is about right. Ruth Pretty is a highly esteemed caterer in New Zealand and everything I tasted was wonderful as is everything I’ve made from her cook books.
