Went to the lake district with some friends and whilst there my friend Jane taught me how to make stock with a ham shank and then to eat the cooked ham meat with home made peasepudding, I have since tried this on my own and it was fab I have to say that pease pudding eaten warm with ham is just the best. Jane is a real Yorkshire lass she also taught me how to make a real Yorkshire pork pie, I have not ventured to do this yet, the pastry case is quite a feat and has to be kept warm at all costs

Sounds delicious! I may just try that next time I get a cauli.

I love my in-laws, I think I'm just really lucky not to have any of the typical problems that a lot of people seem to find... (Actually, we get on better now that they are in-laws, because they're very traditional, and wanted to know when we were going to get married as soon as we got together.)
