I love your photos! And I must admit I am slightly envious of the snow you have had. We have a sneaky view of the Rimutuka from our garden and the snow fall looked amazing. Not sure there is much left now though considering all this rain! xx

Hi Guys, you may get this twice as my fingers don't seem to know what they are doing just now, so apologies in advance. I just love the new look website and really enjoy catching up on all that you have been doing. I can't believe that it is 7 months since I was out staying with you and am determined to start saving towards another visit (which could be good, or bad, news for you !!) Haven't the boys grown, I shall look forward to being taken more walks by them when I return. I am actually at home just now, for 7 consecutive weeks, unusual for me, but lots of family and friends like to visit, especially over the Edinburgh Festival, so I get lots of culture as well as company ! Had 3 Australian lads staying, former schoolfriends of my Grandaughter's, who are taking a year out from University to travel, then my Sister-in Law arrived, also from Sydney, a german friend, a former neighbour from when we lived up north, my Stepson from Malta and, finally, an old nursing friend and her husband, from London, who arrive next week. I met up with Sue Burr recently, when I was down in Bournemouth, she is very well and enjoying her retirement from the RCN. I have had a few phone calls from Mary Sloyan, she is enjoying life and we keep promising to meet up again one day soon when I am down London way. Our weather has been the usual British summer of lots of rain but occasional dry days and quite warm, (17C) well at least for us in Scotland ! Best wishes and a hug for the boys.
