I swapped teh honey for Sugar Free Maple Syrup – (we get that in from teh UK), and swapped the flour for Ground Almonds, and used twice the amount of baking powder.

Apart from they are not chewy – more of a hard biscuit – we all thought it was a huge success.

So thanks for posting – we now have Christmas Biscuits for the first time in years 🙂
