I absolutely adore your huge vegetable patch with the most wonderful views. We only grow a couple of things for fun and it’s a fabulous feeling to eat something one has grown from seed. Hi Deb – not sure how much we “need”. The new kitchen garden is going to be 12m x 12 m in total but when you account for paths it will be smaller. It’s still way too much for two people and two bassets. I’m hoping to share my excess with neighbours or sell on to others. It will all be an experiment for a while.
