I like that the books you read are serious books, I’ve read a few heavy hitters, but then you can throw in the occasional brain candy piece of junk book to the pile and I’m afraid I’m just as eager to read that kind. I agree what you had to say about the Belief in Angels, it tries a little too hard, and doesn’t actually have a soul. Some books speak to you, others … just don’t.

I have indeed read and enjoyed The Interpretation Of Murder. It was a great read and even more interesting because of the “real” characters in it.

I finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns last night and I quite agree with your sentiments. It’s hard to believe that there are women in the 21st century who are subjected to such a way of life.
I think that The Interpretation Of Murder by Jed Rubenifeld s one that you would enjoy, Julie.
