The beach is totally stunning and it looks like you had fun. We are still working on the recalls with Denver but hopefully we can experience letting him roam (although he did have 5 minutes at the far end of Petone beach the other day off the lead!). x

My youngest daughter and I popped into see hubbie at the office today – and one of his employees brings her gorgeous Labrador, Paddy, to work with her. Anyway, Sophie had an hilarious time playing ‘hide and seek’ with Paddy’s beloved toy duck and learned the amazing reality of a dog’s power of scent! She hid the duck in some really tough places – totally out of sight – and Paddy went running to it within seconds!

Our dogs used to spend hours hunting for rabbits in the dunes though they never caught any. Bet your beach was a lot cleaner though.
