Just marvellous! A peacock in its natural environment. Now that is lovely. I can definately see you with a peacock or two - that would complete it all nicely. xx

I love the peacock pictures, they have an ethereal quality to them. There are peacocks wandering about the woods and gardens at Arlington Court near here. Just a word of caution, they have a horrible screech and can be very noisy so perhaps they are better in the forest rather than in the garden.
As you are in the mushroom season, while the fly agaric is highly poisonous are there any edible mushrooms about? The one to go for would be cep/ penny bun/ boletus. That's the one Peter's parents (and all the other Lithuanians/ Poles) would search for. I remember going down to the woods around Wisely to collect basketfuls.

Not knowing much about mushrooms, but did you see any fairies around these toadstools! Have to say the colours are fabulous. I have a Canon Ixus digital (My 60th birthday present from my 1st husband lol, my best birthday gift ever,he also got me extra memory so I can snap away merrily). I take it everywhere with me mainly to get inspration for future projects, usually of the embroidery kind.
I should find out how to get them forwarded to you
