Hi fellow Basset Lovers!

I have just spent about three hours looking through your Basset pics and very amusing chat about Fortnum and Mason, who are gorgeous! Your pictures are stunning too and Bassets are just the BEST DOGS IN THE WORLD and are a constant source of joy, not only to us, but to our neighbours, friends and people we meet on our walks!

We have had Bassets all of our life and always at least two or three together of differing ages. We have had several older rehomed hounds that have all been brilliant pets (I just cannot understand how people give them up) and at the moment we have the most adorable pair of Basset sisters, 2yrs 3mths old that we got at 9 weeks of age and having two pups together has just been the best thing we've done, especially as our kids have left home, so it's back to the pre-kids days when we had Basset Hounds that were our kids!!!!

I'll put your blog in my favourites and will enjoy reading some more!

Bestest wishes from Scotland!

Your photos are a pleasure to look at, so crisp and clear with this new camera. In terms of content I can only say that I love to see photos showing any details of your surroundings, (nature and townscapes). What to some might seem mundane is interesting to me either to compare similarities or to note differences. I must have a simple mind because I really like pictures in people's blogs. So just keep on snapping whatever catches your eye.

PS The new specs look very smart and modern.
