Very merry happy new year to you all. Good to have family with you at this time of the year ( I know I sometimes am a little slow on the uptake but you mention a new house for mam and dad, have they moved back to England?). We had a quiet but as Kevin said hectic new year lol switching to all the programmes of new year around the world, pouring out drinks and stuffing our faces as a last farewell to the christmas indulgent lifestyle. Now it is time to get the figure back to some semblance of normality, clean the house out, get rid of last years rubbish and all the other things that have to be done as soon as possible after the turn of the new year. Mind all this work takes ones mind off the grumbling tum lol. Happy new year to you all again.

Happy New Year! Already seeing the wonderful results of your new camera in action! Sounds like a wonderfully, relaxed New Year and it is so lovely to spend with close friends and loved ones, a time for reflection on the past, embracing the gift of the present and looking forward to fulfilling aspirations.

Absolutely LOVE that hammock – but finding the time to lie in one is another matter – hey?! But, whilst the sun shines and the evenings are still warm (mostly!) you’ll hopefully get a chance to swing gently in the evening breeze with a good book, listening to the joyous sounds of nature abound.

Very best wishes for a wonderful 2009 filled with happiness.

That first photo has got me so homesick !!! Great photos!!

Friend of mine has a hammock. I tried getting into it recently and it dumped me straight out. More practice needed, methinks. 🙂
