You’ve set me thinking. When ( hopefully) I buy my ticket to NZ the next purchase will be a lap top to keep me in touch with the world. I hate change and it would be wrench to move away from Windows as this is all I’ve ever known. I’ll be interesed to hear how you get on with your Applemac.
ps I love the design of the desktop icons.

Coincidentally, I just ordered a new MacBook laptop for our office, as well as an iPod Touch for me, to complement the iMac I’ve been using at the office for two years.

I have been reading your blog almost daily now for about 8 months and I love it. Myself, partner and daughter moved to NZ a year ago and get a lot of comfort from your blogs. We love fortnum and mason.

I just had to make a comment I was sooo excited to read this blog. We in our house have two computers one mac, one PC and we all take it turns to use the mac rather than using the PC, we just couldnt live without our mac. LOVE THEM.

Looking at those photos unwrapping it, wow, what a pleasure, enjoy. You will wonder how you lived without it. Great for photography.
