The presents are wrapped. The food is stocked in the fridge and the first potato crop is in the ground. As if that wasn’t enough, summer in New Zealand seems to have arrived to bless us all this Christmas. This is our fourth Christmas in the southern hemisphere and the first that we could call a summery Christmas.
We’re all set for the big day tomorrow and looking forward to lengthy phone calls across the globe. For tonight, this Christmas Eve, I’m sharing with you the view from the Domestic Executive veranda and wishing family, friends and all bloggers a very happy Christmas, wherever you may be.
We’ll be back with all our festive adventures, our potato planting exploits and lots more. For now it’s time to enjoy the view!
Looks like heaven on earth and so peaceful, well cheers to you both a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. Love to you both (and Doggies) from the Robbie Clan
Such a fabulously relaxing photograph and glad you had a magic Christmas. It was indeed such a treat to have wonderful weather for Christmas and the days building up to it. Alas, the wind and drizzle have returned since, but it’s not cold so we’ll be getting out for a few walks.
