Hahahaha!

My first thought was that your two bassets were spoiled - in that they had a feather bed which they had attacked :) I love your little bit of "sweet revenge".

You are right about the spoiled bit though Elizabeth. Thanks for stopping by! JT

A great story!!!! Superbly captured and narrated!!! I was chuckling throughout!!!

Abigail liked to eat candles. When they came out the other end, you could just put a wick in them, except they weren't particularly aromatic (well not in a pleasent way at least ;)

Hi Liz, great to see you're still enjoying our basset tales. Candles is not something I'll be testing with the bassets I'm sure they'd eat them too! JT

At first I thought BAD DOG, then I remembered you don't have warrens, had he been at the neighbours? and finally all was revealed. Still a very naughty dog but what an excellent photo opportunity. Somehow I think that one sharp peck on the nose from the real thing would put off any bird munching ideas.

Shades of Sasha and the chickens ????
Keep a eye on your chuks in future he has tasted the feathers

Hi Dad, not sure he liked them too much! We're very careful with the chickens and they are most definitely not allowed through the gate when I go there. Whilst they might loitter to watch I'm sure it's quite harmless. For the moment at least. JT xx
