I'm glad the sun came out for you and that you managed to enjoy a good walk. I love the bassets' floopy faces , they look so comical. I hope you get over your cold soon and that it doesn't turn into something worse. Teachers always get ill at the beginning of any holiday, especialy half-terms when no sooner are you better than you're back at work.

Yah, they're on the mind - and hopefully you feel better too soon! I so enjoyed this photographs and accompanying 'story board' - I had a little chuckle as I followed them on their walk. So pleased they took a long nap for you in the afternoon.

Rest up and sip up!

We're all a little under the weather too, with sore throats and snuffles too - so much going round. Thankfully, the weather this week has helped pull us through. It's just mornings and evenings when we feel our worse (and late afternoons!). I've been savoring ginger, lemon and honey tea.

Keep warm this weekend and get well soon x
