Our veranda is ablaze with Spring colour which gives an uplifting note to the otherwise large green landscape surrounding the house.  The more I look at the cheery blooms the more intrigued I am by the shapes, sizes and textures of tulips which serve to boost their beauty.  It’s too late for this year but next I can see a photographic project on the cards to capture nature’s architectural beauty.  Although I probably need to get hold of a macro lens to be able to do real justice to such natural beauty.

Since getting my iPhone my daily photographic habits have changed somewhat as I use my phone camera to keep my eye in and also record those moments that I like to cherish.  This new found freedom has allowed me to contemplate more artistic photographic projects and dust off my documentary photographic projects.  Since finishing my photography course a couple of months ago I felt in need of a break to reignite my creative thinking.  With the better weather heading our way over the coming months it’s a perfect time to kick start those photographic urges again. Am excited just thinking about it!
