Although these pictures don’t do it justice, I have a much clearer picture out of my kitchen window these days.  In fact, I have a clearer picture full stop.  It’s been a while but after struggling to read the instructions on a jar of cooking sauce I decided it was time to get my glasses updated.

The results are amazing.  I can see.  Really see.

I can see all the way to tunnel gully with my new specs and it all looks bright and clear.  This new brighter and sharper vision does of course mean that the patchy weedy not growing lawn looks worse than it ever did!

But hey, I have to live with that if I’m to enjoy my new found sight.

I’m not sure what the bassets think but they were a bit suspicious of me taking their picture through the window.

Oh, no, Mason’s taking marginally more interest.

I can’t help but love these guys.  They make me smile with their expressions.

Big Basset is however being his laid back self.

No, Mason’s gone again.  Such a short attention span!

Oh well says Fortnum, time for a stretch!

Before he settles down.

Even if the lawn is not that complete.  The bassets don’t seem bothered by it and can happily lie down on it.

But that’s mainly because they’ve worn themselves out from chasing and fighting over their latest toy.  A string of plastic chicken legs.  I think Mason won and then abandoned them as there is no fun unless your fighting with your brother.

No it’s fair to say that whilst I might have a clearer view of what’s outside my kitchen window the bassets are not bothered about that.  Or indeed pretty much anything else!
