It was with high excitement that we ventured to the kitchen garden after almost 2 days on continuous rain.  How much would everything grown, what would be ready for harvest. The beans were the stars of the show with their prolific bounty.  It’s action stations right now as every for weeks to come another handful of beans are ready for picking.  Personally I could eat beans every day but I’m intent on freezing as many as we can so that we’ll have our backyard pantry working for us long after the beans have peaked and gone away.
