People talk about nurturing seedlings like they are babies. They are of course baby plants so that make sense.  They also talk about the excitement when they see them grow. I can always do with a little excitement here at Domestic Executive HQ. My spreadsheet... I wish I could remember a time when I could happily snuggle up under the duvet and turn over to go back to sleep. Time for snoozing in a relaxing carefree way. I keep asking myself where did those days go to?  Nowadays my eyes seem to pop open wide on waking and... Spring winds have been playing havoc making it hard to do anything outside today for fear of being lifted off the ground by a gust of wind. I think the chickens were fearing for their lives. I certainly wasn’t taking any chances and stayed indoors catching... It may have been freezing outside recently but the heat in the Domestic Executive kitchen has been turned up high today. Maybe a little too high but we don’t let a little heat come between us and domesticity at it’s cosiest.
